Welcome to 2200°, a unique glass studio that pairs the talents of Becky Foresta and Brad DeVries. The two artists crossed paths while blowing glass at the College for Creative Studies. An immediate partnership was formed as they became each others assistants, pushing their talents to the brink. Shortly thereafter, Brad and Becky decided to pursue careers as gaffers and thus, 2200° was born.
At 2200° two independent styles blend seamlessly, as both artists are rooted in organic, undulating forms that are accentuated by unique color combinations, reflecting the natural forms and transitory properties of the glass itself. Their work is showcased in the portfolio section of the website and available for purchase online, as well as at galleries in the surrounding areas. But the best way to view the work is at the many art shows they participate in during the summer months. Check out the calendar for details.
Becky and Brad are often found in the hot shop, weather at The College for Creative Studies, The Toledo Museum of Art or at Pine Lake Glass, the two artists are always pushing the envelope. They are excited and passionate about their work and are thankful for there success. Please enjoy 2200°
